Kai’to Tye was born in a small village just outside of Ul'dah city. His parents were incredibly hardworking adventurers and deep sea salvagers, bringing home treasures and trinkets from their many expeditions. They were Kai’to’s heroes and he always looked up to their bravery, longing to one day travel the world and explore.
Kai'to decided to make Kugane his home, a small village and collection of log-cabins, tents, and campervans and has now been living in a log-cabin style home on the outskirts of Kugane city for nearly seven years now. The cabin is situated near a beautiful mountain range, surrounded by lush, green forests, and is currently home to around 30 local residents. This small community is very tight-knit, gathering often to socialise and have fun together. Every summer, the group puts on a huge, celebratory event, which all are welcome to join in on. The varying group is comprised of couples, families, and single people alike, all of whom get along and have each other's backs. On the campsite lies a small, fluffy husky puppy, whom Kaito has grown very fond of. He often aids in his own way with whatever tasks the other residents need doing. All in all, Kai'to finds it a pleasure to live in such a welcoming environment alongside these wonderful people.
He returns the favor with full willingly, helping out as much as possible and being an all-round wonderful friend.
The log cabin sits amongst the natural beauty of the area, surrounded by lush foliage and peaceful animals, a place of peace and tranquility. Kai'to spends a lot of time enjoying the view, whether that's lying in a hammock, sitting on a log or climbing a tree, taking a moment to appreciate the stunning scenery. There are numerous activities to keep everyone entertained, from hiking the nearby trails to fishing in the lake, and from camping on the beach to exploring the town. Every summer, the community comes together for a big event, making the most of the warm and sunny weather. There's always delicious food, music, dancing and laughter, and everyone has a great time. Kai'to Tye lives a peaceful and happy life in the log cabin, surrounded by an incredible community of locals. He loves spending time outdoors, helping and supporting others, and gets to experience the awe-inspiring natural beauty of the area.Once ever year an social event and party takes place on the campsite is something that he looks forward to every year, and Kai'to knows that he is part of a family, a place he will always call home.He helps to clean the area around the cabins, muck out the stables, collect water and help out with any small jobs that may need doing. He has become an integral part of the community, always keeping busy but also providing help and support whenever possible.As he grew apart from his pact, he had chosen to make his home in the city of Kugane, where he could pursue his martial arts training without interruption. He lived as a volunteer in a small village South-East of the central city, where he would help the locals with their daily tasks, fishing, cooking, cleaning, and farming, and respectfully become one of the locals in this tight-knit community.Kai’to is also very fond of his motorcycle, which he often takes on weekend adventures away from home. His travels often take him to various locations around Othard, often running into old friends or discovering new and mysterious locations. With a passion for exploring and a keen eye for treasure, Kai’to shows no signs of slowing down.Kai’to returns to his log cabin on the edge of Kugane to rest and relax with the closest of his friends. Kai’to is an adventurous spirit - always looking for new opportunities and experiences - but at the same time, fiercely loyal and protective of those he cares about. This is a Miqo’te on a mission to make a name of himself and share his many stories with the world.

His passion for life and the journey it often takes him on, has shaped him to become who he is today; an accomplished treasure hunter, deep sea salvager, archaeologist, explorer and most of all, a very brave and daring soul.Kai'to likes to spend a considerable amount of his spare time traveling into Kugane, his local city. Here he visits with old friends, trains in mixed martial arts at the local dojo, and spends his days off surfing at Costa Del Sol, his favorite hobby. On the weeks when he's not doing any of these things, he's often seen on his beloved motorcycle, cruising down the highway.The small log-cabin campsite he lives on is just outside of the city, nestled into the mountainside where the forest begins. When in Kugane, Kai'to does the things he enjoys most, including training at the local dojo in mixed martial arts and surfing at Costa Del Sol. He loves his motorcycle, and likes to take road trips around the continent whenever he gets the chance. In Kai'to's spare time, he researches ancient cultures and tries to uncover lost artifacts and stories to further his knowledge – and hopefully uncover great treasure in the process. He does regular dives off the coast of the island, looking for sunken ships and other riches. Even when he goes out on adventures, Kai'to is always prepared with his trusty motorbike and the right equipment. He also keeps his firearms and some weapon of choice – usually a spear – nearby for added protection. What sets Kai'to aside from others is his passion and dedication to his work, his courage, and his love of the open road – it's no wonder he spends so much time traveling.Kai'to's passion for the love of his trusty motorcycle is very much visible. The feeling of the wind blowing and the sun shining down, with the freedom to explore his environment, can't be beaten. It is one of the reasons why he picked up riding in the first place. The sound of the engine roars to life in his ears and gives him a sense of being alive that nothing else can compare to. Beyond that, the scenery of Kugane and the surrounding areas is something he is a fan of. The mountain roads stretching away into the horizon with the sound of the waves crashing against the tide, or the unexplored forests leading to unknown places and discoveries, all provide excitement and relaxation for the rider. Kai'to loves the feeling of accomplishment once he arrives at a destination that he couldn't reach before. The thrill of adventure, coupled with a smooth journey and the reward of experiencing something new, is why Kai'to loves riding his motorcycle so much. It gives him a sense of discovery and freedom that no other activity can match and will continue to do so for a long time to come.
